In the Aether House, we learn that Team Skull as stolen the little girls Yungoos and took back to their base of Po Town.

That Yungoos, from that little girl

Po Town is two full Route's away, so we get to explore the rest of the island on the way. Off we go!

On Route's 15 and 16 I caught two Pelipper's and traded them for a Fomantis and a Trumbeak. In the final stretch before Po Town is the Ula'Ula Meadow, where I caught an Oricorio and Traded it for a Bagon!

I'm definitely keeping this guy!

So for now, Petilil will go into the box open up a spot.

After much travelling, it is time to enter Po Town.

Apparently it's always raining in Po Town, but the Team Skull members Guzma doesn't let inside don't mind, since none of the other houses are enter-able and none of them are complaining.

Team Gene Kelly just doesn't have the same ring

Going through the town is pretty uneventful since the Grunts just aren't strong, which is why they joined in the first place, I guess. As to which house could possibly  be holding Guzma and the stolen Yungoos is a total mystery...

And one that may never be solved...

After infiltrating what's left of the mansion and finding the three pieces of paper with the passwords on it, I reach the Big Bad Boss himself. Again.

Throughout all of the games, Guzma has given me more trouble than any other Bug-type trainer. The Bug type Gym Leaders and Elite Four of games past for some reason don't give me the same trouble as the leader of a bunch of goons. I still beat him, it just has never been the clean sweep like it has against the other Bug masters.

Anyway, after beating him, he scurries off and Yungoos is saved! Hooray! Back at the Aether House, Gladion is there, and he is upset! Turns out, Team Skull stealing the Yungoos turned out to be a diversion to get me away so that they could kidnap Lillie and Nebby and take them to the Aether Paradise! Because a group of thugs has access to a super expensive state of the art artificial island, apparently.

Gladion evidently blames me for her getting kidnapped for some reason and we battle. Afterwords, he apologizes and asks me to help him invade what is surely to be a well, guarded high tech base and because the plot has to happen, I say yes. We head down to the docks, were the Island Kahuna approaches, because I still have to do that.

He's not old or grumpy or anything

After beating him and getting the Dark-type Z Crystal, Hau joins us, because, you know, why have one of the strongest most recognizable trainers on the islands, who by the way is a former cop, come with us when we have an 11 year old who hasn't won a battle can be there?

Off to the Aether Paradise, and the real mysteries it hides.
