In the icy caverns, I caught a Golbat and traded it for an Altaria. Continuing up the mountain, defeating the trainers and traversing the landscape, this is certainly one of the easier Victory Roads. But finally, I reach the peak and the final Pokemon Center before the Pokemon League Challenge.

Entering the first chamber, I encounter Molayne and his Steel-type Pokemon.
Mudsdale and Turtonator took care of him pretty handily.
The next chamber belongs to Olivia and her Rock-type Pokemon.
Mudsdale again fought valiantly, this time with help from Salamence.
After that, was Acerola and her team of Ghosts.
Absol singe handily defeated her.
And in the final chamber, Kahili the Flying type master who completed her Trial a few years ago and has since been honing her skills in other regions.
Heliolisk was up to the task of defeating her team of birds all on her own.
Stepping on the final teleporter takes me to a brand new chamber, and at the back is the Throne of the Champion, and it's all mine. Except, Kukui tells me I have one more challenger before I can claim it as my own.
Hau arrives for one final battle, and after the whole team is involved in beating him, he concedes, and Alola has its first ever Champion!
